My thoughts on EL’s relationship offscreen: I think that Ed and Leighton are great friends, possibly closer friends than the other cast mates. I think that with Chace, they are the closest. Since the beginning Ed, Leighton, Chace (and at that time also Jessica and Sebastian) used to go out a lot. After Jessica and Seb broke up with EL, I think the group EL/Chace got closer because after all they saw each other every day to film the show. I think they just have an amazing time together and are intimate friends, comfortable with each other when they have to film together etc. I don’t think there’s more than a friendship between them. I can just assume that EL love each other really much and have a deep friendship bond that grew through the years they’ve worked together. Ed said it many times that he appreciates Leighton and loves her and Leighton did it too.

Somehow… I do, lmao. But at the same time I’m happy that they are anyway close friends. It’s important to be friends with the people you work with for lots of months ;)
chairtomytable: They looked super-coupley in those Rio pics.. and American websites are starting to report it now. Apparently she dated Aaron back in 2007, pre-Sebastian and now they're dating again. I will wait forever for Leighted. I'm convinced they've hooked up and poor Ed has unrequited love for Leighton. What about you?
They dated before Seb? I didn’t know that. Yes there are pics where they seemed together (and Brazilian sites mentioned him as her boyfriend too). I just have no idea and of course I’d hope for LeightEd but I agree with you, is it possible they’ve hooked up in the past but probably their relationship doesn’t go past an intimate friendship. Ed has said multiple times that Chace and Leight are the people closer to him of the cast, and Leighton has often said the same… I guess we can’t expect more :(
Anonymous: Since you're super good about everything concerning Ed and Leighton do you know if Leigh is back with her ex? There are pics of them two in Rio so I was wondering.... Hope not! I want Ed and Leigh to be together in real life so badly =)
I don’t really know if the guy with Leighton in Rio is her boyfriend right now… although during the last days of filming there was a candid of Leighton eating at a bar with the same guy, but he was turned so I’m not sure. I think that until we get a pic of them kissing in public, we can’t be sure if it’s her boyfriend or not. :)
